I think it is important to keep a positive attitude & outlook in life. My days are so much more enjoyable when I brush off things that go wrong or any setbacks and frustrations...and take time to point out what's going right. Don't get me wrong, I have bad days and allow myself to get annoyed and disappointed, but I would much rather spend significantly less time in that state of mind than in a positive one.

So, in an effort to take time to focus on the good things, I am going to try and post each week about things that have made me happy or brought joy to my days. This could be anything, even the smallest little thing like grabbing your favorite coffee before work in the morning...anything at all! And please feel free to comment and share what brought you happiness this week too!

1// Picking up Marin from daycare
Like any working mom, I struggle with having someone else watch her all day. I miss her constantly and wish that my days were spent taking care of her. BUT the silver lining is that each day, when we start to near 5:00 pm, I get SO excited to go and see her and walking into daycare and seeing her huge smile is heart melting stuff.

2// Starbucks Iced Coffee
Has to be venti with a little half & half, and three pumps of caramel syrup. My favorite little morning treat!

3// Coldplay concert this weekend in Cleveland
We bought Aubrey tickets to see Coldplay for her birthday last October...and the concert is finally here! It is her first concert and she is SO excited, and I am equally as excited since they are my favorite band of all time. That might sound a bit dramatic, but we used two of their songs for our wedding processional and recessional, if that tells you anything ;)

4// This dress from H&M
I'm still not back to my pre-baby body...I know that it is going to take some time and work. So, I had to grab a couple new things to wear to work, and found this dress on H&M's website the other day. It is super comfortable, perfect for hot temps (since it's still sweltering outside!), and only $12.99!

5// Game of Thrones
I'm obsessed. Aaron and I love Sunday nights when we get to sit down, turn off all the lights, and watch this each week. It's a bummer that there are only two more episodes this season, but I'm so happy there will be one more (Season 8) next year. I was getting nervous about them wrapping everything up in only a handful of episodes!
