I am glad to hear of so many people being safe after all the panic last week with hurricane Irma. We were so worried about our friends in Florida (and other states near that part of the country), but everyone seems to be pretty unscathed - what a blessing!
That being the number one thing making me happy...here is a quick list of some other things that have made my week...
1 // Having my sister and her boyfriend come to visit this week. Only a 24 hour visit, but I loved it so much. Such a surprise, and ended up being SUPER good timing, as Aaron was out of town for work and they helped me so much with the baby!
2 // Getting our home ready to list! Super nerve-racking and bitter sweet, but I am excited of finding a new home to make memories in. We LOVE our house, but it doesn't work for where we are in our life anymore (aka we need a yard for our enormous dogs and a better school district for our daughter).
3 // 6pm
Have any of you used this website before?? I am in desperate need of new shoes for work since all of mine seem to be falling apart at the same time. I found so many high quality brands on this site for a fraction of the prices they are selling for elsewhere! Perfect example, the Born "Bima" mules from my last Loving Lately post for $46.00 when they are going for up to $79.00 on other sites.
4 // Caramel Corn
We bought a big tub of this from the grocery store on Sunday...and there's not a speck of it left (surprising? nope.) Delicious, and the perfect treat to bring in the fall weather with!
5 // Nothing makes me happier than having the windows open throughout the house...with the fall breeze and smells blowing through. We've being doing this while we are home recently, and I love it. Chilly weather is my favorite! Chunky sweater, cozy blanket, football game, weather :)
