I was recently contacted by Maple Holistics to try out some of their hair care products. This is a brand that boasts products that are all natural and made up of the highest quality ingredients here in the United States.  I was immediately on board...once I double checked that they were a cruelty-free brand (Logical Harmony approved)...because I love sharing new products and brands with you all!

I let them know what type of hair I have, and the issues I struggle with (hello dryness), and they suggested I try their Argan Oil Shampoo

It is made up of 10 natural ingredients, 6 of which are oils, and the benefits are listed as...
     - Moisturizes and softens hair
     - Nourishes hair and scalp
     - Builds thick, long locks
     - Repair damaged, brittle and dry hair

When it arrived, my first impressions were that the bottle wasn't very big (8 oz) and the packaging wasn't super impressive. BUT...I take the stance that while pretty packaging might draw you to a product, it doesn't hold much value if the product is crap. So, I try to not let myself get caught up in packaging schemes, and I was prepared to let this shampoo speak for itself...and I am glad that I did.

The first time I used the Argan Oil Shampoo, the bottle said only to use a quarter sized amount. Now, I don't usually follow these guidelines because I have hella thick hair and it usually takes a whole handful of product to get through it. However, this shampoo did the trick and lathered up with only a quarter sized amount! (And now I'm starting to understand the smaller bottle size - since you only need to use a little bit at a time)

I loved the mild and natural smell of the shampoo while I was in the shower. It was a little sweet, but not in an overpowering way. It rinsed out nicely and left my hair feeling very soft and nourished. I actually didn't even put conditioner in!

If you are interested in trying the Argan Oil Shampoo, or any products from Maple Holistics, they have an awesome free samples program. The program includes everything from hair care, to skin care, and even pet shampoo. What an awesome offering to be able to try things you are interested in out before buying a full size bottle!

*While I was sent this product by Maple Holistics, all reviews and opinions of it are entirely my own. I wouldn't share something with you all that wasn't cruelty-free and something I enjoy using myself.
