It is chilly and rainy here in Columbus, and I am ALL about it. It might sound weird, but part of me loves dreary weather. Not all the time, but let's be honest - I really needed a break from all the muggy heat that we were blasted with this summer (and up until the past couple weeks). My Mum and I joke that it's the Scottish part of me that craves a cloudy overcast day. Do any of you feel the same?
I've picked up a few fashion bits over the past week or so that will be great to wear in these chillier temperatures. And now that I see them all laid out, they will be good to mix and match with each other too!

Got a killer deal on this jacket while Nordstrom was price matching (I think with the Shopbob sale) and dropped the price temporarily. It is typically $98...which is probably why I never pulled the trigger. Super happy with it though - the faux leather is very high quality and the jacket itself drapes really nicely and is very comfortable. Can't wait to pair this with a white tee and some distressed jeans!

I got these leggings after a recommendation from the lovely Stephanie and WOW. They are the best leggings I've ever owned. I loved my Blanqi leggings during pregnancy, but needed something different once I had the baby... and this pair are a new momma's dream. After seeing this on Ashley, I wanted to scoop it up to wear to work... but was so bummed to find it was sold out. BUT... I checked back this week and they have not only restocked it - but it is an extra 40% off the $54.99 price tag! I'll be wearing this to the office once it arrives, pairing it with skinny black dress pants. It is feminine and unique and I'm loving the ruffled cuffs and relaxed hemline that lets the white layer peek through.

I love that the back is a bit longer, so it can be paired with leggings and will be great for layering too. I think it will look cute with the BB Dakota jacket, a jean jacket, or even green utility coat!

I've been looking for a simple grey beanie hat like this since last winter. When I was ordering some Christmas pajamas online earlier this week (will share these soon!), I stumbled upon this beanie and decided to add it to my shopping cart. I am pretty picky when it comes to scarves. They need to be a certain material that is thick enough (otherwise what is the point in wearing one, right?) and soft...and I really tend to stick to plaid. But, again, I'm really picky about the plaid lol. This one from A&F is perfect. I rediscovered this store recently and have to say, I'm loving it. They carry great quality clothing that is very basic and neutral - and they've stepped up their game recently with better sizing and more "mature" pieces.

This cardigan is such a good length and its very thick and soft. My only complaint was that it got little black fuzz all over my white tank the first time I wore it - but one time in the washer fixed that issue! I got it to wear to work, but it really could be paired with many different fall outfits - dressed up or dressed down.
