I've picked up a few new beauty items recently and wanted to share them with you guys!
It's a bit of a mixed bag - with a little bit of skin care and a couple cosmetics. I've had some time to try everything out, so I can share some opinions (so far) too. All these items have been purchased this past month at either Ulta, Target, or Whole Foods.
*These are all cruelty free brands, but I will note that Burt's Bees is owned by a parent company that is NOT cruelty free.
+ Physician's Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer - $11.89
I grabbed this on a whim, since I usually like Physician's Formula products and I noticed this as something new that I hadn't tried before. I'm also loving this so far... it is very shimmery - so I would stay away from it if you tend to be oily or don't like extra shine on your face. I, however, cannot get enough dewy shimmer on this dry skin ;)
+ Flower Beauty Light Illusion Liquid Foundation - $13.99
I picked this up from Ulta the other day after seeing numerous bloggers and Youtubers rave about it. I am really impressed so far, especially for the price point. The color is slightly dark for me right now, but I'm able to make it work by bronzing or self-tanning my neck and chest. One thing I really like is how it keeps my skin from feeling dry all day!
+ Pixi skintreats Glow Tonic - $15.00
Tried and true product for me. I have repurchased the Glow Tonic multiple times and will continue to do so because I love it and haven't found any toner good enough to replace it.
+ Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Oil - $15.99
I had a small travel-sized version of this cleanser, and I loved it so much that I grabbed a full size bottle. It is the perfect formula for me - melting away my makeup without much effort (or scrubbing) and keeping my skin from drying out (do you sense a common theme yet??)
+ Dr. Bronner's Pure Castille Liquid Soap (Unscented) - $12.96
I really love the EcoTools brush cleanser, but I was getting tired of repurchasing it so often. I try and clean my brushes at least once biweekly (weekly is ideal)...and I clean my makeup sponge after every single use. Because of that, I was going through the bottles of EcoTools cleanser really quickly...so I picked up a 16oz bottle of the Dr. Bronner's. It also comes in a 32oz option, so if I go through this one too quickly too, there's an even bigger one I can purchase!
What products have you picked up recently as repurchases, or to try for the first time??
I actually had someone recommend that soap and I need to pick it up!! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what others are using in their skincare routine. I just added the dr. bronner's soap to my amazon cart!
