I don't know what planet I have been living on...but I had no idea about Target's new line - Universal Thread - until I was wandering through one of their stores the other day.
I was there to buy tampons and an umbrella, but in true Target fashion, I wound up leaving with much more than I planned...
All of a sudden, I find myself passing the women's fashion section before heading to the check out, and I stop dead in my tracks when I saw the display. FINALLY, a range I can get on board with! This line is full of so many amazing neutral and classic pieces that are right up my alley. Oh...and did I mention, everything is under $40?
I love that this line is also super inclusive - there are tons of sizes (including plus size in everything - very rare!) and they have an awesome ad campaign full of diverse models. So important for young girls to see campaigns showing a range of women, and I love that so many big brands are starting to adopt marketing like this.
Some of my favorites from online include:
+ This pair of cropped skinny jeans
+ The simplest sweater (I ordered in white, but want the olive color too!)
+ A knit sweater with cute tie front detail (I ordered in gray)
+ The most perfect red wrap dress (I plan to pair this with a jean jacket)
+ A camel colored pouch, the perfect makeup bag for your purse!
+ Love this convertible purse/backpack - it would make an awesome diaper bag.
+ These gorgeous hoop earrings with green stone detail
I haven't had a chance to try any of the denim yet, but I fully plan to. I did order a bunch of items though, and I can't wait to report back to you all about how I end up liking them! Apart from what I mentioned ordering above, I also picked up this jumpsuit and this white button down shirt.
Have you tried anything from the new Universal Thread line??
I was just in target and didn't see this line! Reminds me of madewell but for a much better price! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any of this stuff in store yet but I have a few shirts in my cart and am definitely going to check out that wrap dress too now. I can't wait to hear what you think of the things you picked up!
